About Us

David C. Kistner- VP/Head of Operations

David started his career in manufacturing at SOTA Technology in 2005 where he was able learn all aspects of Metal Stamping from start to finish passed down from his father. David has held every position within the organization from Production, Quality to Sales. In 2008 David held an internship with a leading Engineering and Design firm where he was responsible for product design. David took those skills and combined them with his knowledge of Metal Stampings to help lead SOTA Technology into new non-automotive applications.

Dave R. Kistner- President/Founder

Dave started his career in manufacturing with Modern Tool & Die Corporation(MTD) in Cleveland OH and later moved to LUK Clutch corporation 1977 in Wooster OH. This sparked Dave's interest and passion for metal manufacturing. Dave moved back to Michigan to start SOTA with his father Charlie Kistner. SOTA quickly became a leading Tier1 supplier to FORD Motor company with recognitions in Quality and Multiple Patents used across many popular models.
